Intro: Game Theme
Everyone dreams of winning big. It is just part of frequenting online casinos. Even if they are not your cup of tea, you will occasionally read a headline about huge progressive jackpot wins. For that one brief moment, you will wonder what it would be like if it was you who won that massive prize. This has been something players have been trying to do even back in the days of brick-and-mortar casinos. If you want to transform fantasy into reality, Lotsaloot Jackpot gives you an opportunity to win big. That said, it has no other bonuses, apart from a Wild.
Graphics are nothing to write home about. They get the job done, but there is no overarching theme here. If you squint hard, you could say luck and wealth are two available themes. Even so, the visuals just feel a bit too mismatched for our liking. They remind of old slots in land-based casinos, which focused on being as colourful and attention grabbing as possible. If that is something you like, then you will not mind the visuals of this game that much.

How it Works
You have two options when it comes to playing this release. You can opt for the original three-reel version, or the more recent five-reel one. Different playing fields also change the number of paylines. With three reels, you have five paylines, while the five-reel version offers twenty-five paylines. In both versions, punters are able to turn individual paylines on or off. This is useful for customising your wager. Keep in mind that every payline you turn off lowers your chances of winning! To win, you need to find three or more identical symbols in adjacent positions, starting with the leftmost reel. Your winning combination has to follow an active payline, or else the cash prize will not be awarded. Players can bet between £0.10 and £2.50 on each spin.
Lotsaloot Jackpot uses Microgaming’s old user interface, which can be a bit annoying to use. The simple version just allows you to change the number of active paylines, spin the reels and open the help menu. Opening expert gives you more options to customise and adjust your wager. As for the icon designs, we do not have all that much to say. Playing card royals are okay, but we think the letter K looks a bit odd with three different colours. Other symbols include a four leaf clover, a bar icon, a lucky seven and a pot of gold. The slot logo serves as a Wild.
Wilds can appear in any reel, and can substitute for all symbols. That said, it is possible to land a five-of-a-kind Wild win, even if it is super rare. This grants a 10,000x jackpot, which is the biggest possible prize outside of the progressive jackpot.
This raises the question: how do you activate the progressive jackpot? If you are playing the five-reel version, you need five Wilds to appear in adjacent positions on the twenty-fifth payline. You also have to play at the maximum possible bet to qualify for the progressive jackpot. Otherwise, the game just grants the 10,000x payout instead.
The number of releases that forgo any other special features in favour of hunting for a progressive jackpot are limited. This was something that took some getting used to while playing Lotsaloot Jackpot. With no other special features, we quickly found our attention drifting off at times. If that is not an issue for you, we also have to highlight the low RTP. This is not new for older progressive jackpot slots, but newer titles offer high RTP and a progressive jackpot.
